The Milleridge Inn had been my favorite restaurant for many, many years. I even got married there.
I returned to NY a year ago. The first thing I did was go to Milleridge. Very disappointed. Not only was the food below par, but the place looks like it needs some tender loving care.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned for dinner today. I ordered tilapia. You really can't go wrong with this fish. Fortunately, I only took a small bite and was able to spit it out into my napkin. It tasted extremely fishy.
The waiter returned it for chicken which was okay. It was served with a side of instant potatoes (can you believe that!) and string beans that I swear came from the grocer's freezer section. That was $25.95!!!
I will never let anyone know that I was married in that place. Very bad.
