  • Spring Schedule starts Thursday March 3, 2011
  • Bay Shore Terminal gates will be opened 30 minutes before scheduled trip time.
  • Bay Shore Terminal gates will be locked for the evening 15 minutes after arrival of last scheduled ferry.
  • FREIGHT BOAT will run Monday through Friday (weather & ice permitting) leaving Bay Shore at 10:00am.
  • Passengers cannot be accommodated on any Freight Boats.
  • NO FREIGHT BOAT December 24th or 31st

Fair Harbor Ferry Fares:

Fares & Passenger Baggage Restrictions

  • Peak trips marked in bold type indicate trips where each adult passenger will be limited to 2 pieces of luggage or 1 small cart or cooler. No other items will be permitted.
  • No bikes, large wagons or large carts anytime.

The above will be strictly enforced.

  • Carts and coolers carry a minimum stowage charge of $4.00
  • Off peak trips MAY be able to carry additional items at the discretion of the crew
  • We urge you to plan ahead and ship items on the freight boats which leave bay shore for all beaches at 10:00AM Monday through Saturday. (No lumber accepted on Saturday or Sunday.)
  • No freight boat Monday July 4th
  • Extra freight boat Sunday September 4th

ALL DOGS CARRIED AT CHILD RATE AND MUST BE LEASHED AND UNDER OWNER'S CONTROL AT ALL TIMES ON BOATS AND ON TERMINAL PROPERTY

  • Passengers may carry 2 pieces of hand luggage, 25lbs. total, free of charge for each ADULT FARE paid. Loose grocery bags & all other baggage subject to a freight charge.

  • NO BIKES PERMITTED ON PASSENGER BOATS AT ANYTIME

  • NO LARGE WAGONS PERMITTED REGARDLESS OF WIDTH

  • NO CHILD CARRIERS MAY BE USED AS A LUGGAGE CART & are subject to a charge

  • ACCEPTED CARTS,WAGONS,LUGGAGE CARRIERS & LG. COOLERS SUBJECT TO MINIMUM CHARGE OF $4.00

  • ALL ITEMS SUCH AS LG. WAGONS, BULK GROCERIES, LG. CARTONS, FURNITURE OR ANY OTHER HEAVY/LG. BAGGAGE MUST BE SHIPPED ON FREIGHT BOAT

  • FREIGHT BOATS LEAVE BAY SHORE AT 10am MONDAY THRU SATURDAY

  • NO LUMBER ACCEPTED OR SHIPPED ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS
