Cielo Serves Terrific Food

I have now been to Cielo's on Nesconset Highway in Hauppauge twice. It is the little Italian restaurant overshadowed by a large Pace's Steakhouse facade.
Each time my husband and I visited this establishment, we have been greeted warmly and the service has been excellent. The specials are worth trying - there's always something interesting offered.
My number one recommendation is the calamari parmigiana appetizer. If it's not available on the specials menu for that night, just ask for it and they'll make it for you.
Another favorite is the shrimp and roasted garlic ravioli in a light pink cream sauce - absolutely to die for.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and when we went on a Friday night, there was live music that was wonderful -just loud enough so you could hear it, but not distracting from conversation.
The bar is small and quaint, a good stop if you have to wait for a table. Prices are very reasonable.
