A Ghostly Toddler

One night that seemed just as normal as any other, my younger brother and I were playing hide & seek. We had only one rule: Don't hide upstairs.

My brother was counting upstairs, I went down into the den and hid. A few seconds later I heard my brother say "CRYSTAL! NO hiding upstairs!"

Then I walked from the den and said "Robby, I'm right here." He looked at me, he looked so confused, then fear flushed his face. he told me he saw a little girl run up the stairs into my room.

A few years later I was swinging on my swing and looked at the back door and saw a girl in white staring at me. I started crying.

Tonight, my brother, my friend Brianna, her brother Zac, and I were having a seance in my room. It all of the sudden became cold. We kept hearing a noise, like a rattling. We then got blankets to get warm, and the candle blew out. We relit the candle, and that's when it all began.

Brianna thought she had a vision in which there was a little girl behind Robby. In a white dress. In my room. We never had told her about the little girl, and we kept questioning what she saw. Then I saw a face behind my brother's shoulder.

Then we all started crying. We couldn't stop. Then Brianna and I both saw, AT THE SAME TIME, a vision in which there was a young man in a blue uniform. We assumed he was the father of the girl, but when we thought of the man, we felt fear.

When I looked in the mirror, I SWORE I saw the girl's curls over my ears, my hair was up, certainly NOT in curls.

Brianna thought she saw the girl sitting on my bed, but then she thought she saw her fade away. Then Brianna felt a presence behind her. I looked at my door and saw a little girl, in a white dress, staring at her, then she faded away.

Brianna said I had a look of horror on my face right before she was about to ask me if there was someone behind her.

Then we all got scared, blew out the candles. We switched my light on and I asked Brianna right away to show me at the door how tall she thought the girl was, she pointed, and I almost collapsed. It was exactly the same length I've been seeing.

After that, we all come downstairs to look up things on Google and hope for answers...

We have none so far. And that is my Long Island ghost story.

Tell her she can go
by: Anonymous

If you want to help her tell her she can leave and to go to her family, they are waiting. The dead may not know they are dead and just need a push to get them to where they belong. Death especially sudden can leave the spirit confused and they may be looking for things so say it is ok and they may not know there is a better place and to go to the family, friends etc..
I live in a haunted house but the spirit is the original owner who has helped me not fall down the stairs. I take some heavy pain meds and at times get a little dizzy and I feel her push me up so as not to fall so I am happy she is here but if I thought she were not happy I would tell her to join her husband and son.
She is quite possessive and I feel her now here and in the doorway to her bed room but she is nice and would not hurt me so I am ok with it

AS an ex paramedic I saw people who wanted to be told it is ok to die. I have friends who told a parent it is ok to die they will be ok and within hours the person died. the same is true to the dead they may not know it is ok to leave.

Let the Toddler Speak to You
by: judy

How old is your house? It is possible that the little girl's spirit is searching for her family who may be long ago moved away, or deceased. She will always be there, I'm afraid. Talk to her and tell her you understand her dilemma. Tell her you are not afraid of her. Tell her you are comfortable sharing your space with her, even though her time here on Earth is finished.
Write on several sheets of loose leaf paper, the following: On one, write the word sick...on another write the word murdered...on another, write, accident...lay the sheets of paper, separately on the floor tonight. Leave a crumpled ball of paper near these. Talk to your ghost. Tell her to move the paper ball during the night after you leave that room. Come back in the morning, and see if you have any results.
